  8. Broccoli has tons of vitamin C..a superfood!
  9. I know that onions have vitamin C... as well as red and green bell peppers, tomatoes, broccoli, and spinach.
  10. Tomatoes
  11. Parsley is probably the most potent Vitamin C bomb without being a fruit.
  12. check here and go to the section on sources. you'd be surprised at how many fruits and veggies besides citrus are rich sources. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vitamin_c no joke, sailors used to stock their ships with saurkraut in order to prevent scurvy (vitamin c deficiency). also how most northern europeans avoid it also since citrus doesn't grow there.
  13. Vitamin C is found in a wide spectrum of popular foods, but occurs most commonly in citrus fruits such as lemons, limes, and grapefruits, as well as tomatoes. The sugar-like vitamin easily oxidizes in air and is sensitive to both light and heat. Ascorbic acid is a relatively fragile molecule and may be lost from foods during preparation, cooking, and/or storage. In spite of the fact that vitamin C is easily destroyed, it has the ability to preserve foods by virtue of its role as a reducing agent. Leafy greens such as collards, spinach, and turnip greens are good sources of needed vitamin C in either raw or cooked forms. Most foods, however, yield maximum amounts of ascorbic acid when eaten raw or minimally cooked. Other good food sources of vitamin C include rosehips, strawberries, watercress, papaya, and mangos. Potatoes and green vegetables such as broccoli, brussel sprouts, and cabbage also provide this essential nutrient. In addition to natural sources, vitamin C may be obtained in synthetic derivatives of glucose. Supplemental forms include tablets, capsules, powdered crystalline, and liquid forms.
  14. Take a pill. I suggest a Multi-vitamin. Really fruits aren't healthy as they used to be with them being genetically altered. Heck people are picky with tomatoes. Heck whats better pesticide, or genetic altering.
  15. Just buy vitamin C tablets! The have chewable or ones you can swallow.
  16. Yes....lots of vegetables contain vitamin C....dont you know that red bell peppers contain more vit c than oranges? also included in the list is papaya. You can also take vitamin c tablets..its .generic name is ascorbic acid. If you dont want to swallow tablets, there are effervescent tablets that melts in cold water and can be taken like juice. Its available in the drugstores.

  22. juices, water soluble containing vegetables, and tabs.
  23. You'll find high levels of Vitamin C in red and green bell peppers, tomatoes, broccoli and spinach.
  24. My favorite for V-c is tomato sauce! Better to be cooked fresh with whole tomatoes simmered down (reduces salt intake) but canned is ok too. When buying canned, I mean crushed tomatoes, whole tomatoes. Not the already made heat it in the microwave type, because that has ALOT more salt & preservatives in it. Broccoli & brussel sprouts are great, too. Green vegetables (most) have v-c (green beans....) On other route, - Rolaids, Tums & most antacids (but I wouldn't turn that into a routine) Or, call your doctor.
  25. Fairy, you can try these ones if you'd like the link, here you is http://dontforgettotakeyourvitamins.com/DeRosa4424 I've been hearing good news all around
