What vegetables are healthy for losing weight?

People always say that if you want to lose weight and be healthy, you have to eat vegetables.What vegetables are they talking about? All vegetables or some specific ones?If someone can list some veggies here and their importance and advantages in dieting, that would be really helpful.Thank you!

  4. Not necessarily true. I generally tell patients the 'Bad Veggies' are corn, carrots, peas.. these are higher in calories compared to others, but they are still better than most other foods. No veggie has a property of burning away fat or calories. Long term, eat a healthy diet where you tak in less calories than you need to fuel your body for the day and you'll lose weight.   5. All of them. But to lose weight focus on the ones with least calories : asparragus, hearts of palm, olives, spinach, lettuce, to start.

  8. Celery actually takes more calories to eat than there actually are in the celery. So, its like negative calories! Corn and other "fake veggies" are starches, so they aren't as good.
