For Vegetables

Which fruits/vegetables are the best to consume on a daily basis?

I'm trying to improve my general health and I want to get my vitamins and nutrients naturally by the consumption of fresh fruits/vegetables . I want to avoid multivitamins. I want the nourishment from the fruits/vegetables. Which fruits/vegetables would be best to consume on a daily basis to get a well balanced dose of vitamins? Thanks for any suggestions or help.

  1. get a juicer and start juicing "green drinks" but celery, spinach, carrots, and anything else u can find thats green. juice this and drink 1-3 glasses a day. if u do simply this, ur health will improve by leaps and bounds. u can also juice fruits like apples and oranges. i used to be tired as hell every single day, and i took naps all the time. i switched to juicing fruits and vegetables...and i am awake all day everyday. its incredible. good luck
  2. spinach, kale (dark leafy greens) bluberries, kiwi, a few more; can't remember the fruits.
  3. First veggies that come to mind is any dark leafy greens and orange veggies such as squash and carrots. Dark leafy greens like kale, escarole and brocolli are great. Fruits include melon and most berries..Good luck with your healthy plan!
  4. Ok first start off by eating some apples. If you dont like those try strawberries. Also eat many bananas. They are really good and are healthy for you.But remember dont eat too much or you will start to go into a deep phase of your life you dont want to go into.If you dont like any of these items get a blender and mix some of it all. happy to help! :)
  5. Just keep mixing it up! Regularly eat your raw broccoli and cauliflower. Keep it half green and as many different colors you can find. You cant go wrong. Of course you will be scrawney and weak and so will your children unless youre eating your meats.
  6. try to get a lot of colors in...more colors, more variety in vitamins and minerals...spinach, tomatoes, carrots, beets, mangos, peaches, celery also provides good fiber...try to keep away from avacados...they are good for you but they have a lot of fats...good fats...so eat one like every couple of days...carrots have a lot of starch so don't eat so much of those...just have a lot of variety and you should get a lot of the vitamins you need...oh and bananas are good for potassium so like one a day for those
  7. First know that a variety of fruits and veggies is your best bet then you'll know you're getting different vitamins and anti- oxidants. Tomatoes, broccoli and blueberries are super rich in healthy benefits but eat all fruits and veggies. They are all good for your body.
  8. A general rule of thumb is the more colorful the veggie or fruit, the better it is for you. Go for dark greens, broccoli, spinach, and so on and bright berries, apples banana's.
  9. A variety. If your diet is varied you will get all the vitamins and nutrients you need. Try eating a rainbow- red- tomatoes, cherries, strawberries, raspberries, beets, radishes White-green- bananas, garlic, brown pears, dates, cauliflower, mushrooms, onions, turnips Blue-purple- blackberries, blueberries, dried plums, purple figs, red cabbage, raisins Yellow-orange- apricots, cantaloupe, grapefruit, lemons,, papayas, pumpkins, sweet potatoes Yellow-green- avocados. green apples, honeydew melon, lies, asparagus, celery, okra, peas, zucchini.
