Vegetables..?
I really dislike many of them but I want to eat more of them. Is putting vegetables into mixes where you cant really taste them still giving me the same nutritional value? Say.. adding shredded carrots to muffin mix, i heard that somewhere. just for an example. What are some good ways to prepare vegetables to a point where they taste pretty good?

- Veggies should be eaten in their most original form to be most effective. It'll still be good for ur body if you shred them but wont be AS good as original form.
- try experimenting, mix it with things you like but don't mix it with things that are totally not healthy. for example don't mix it with tons of chocolate syrup try using healthy things
- Really, for health, it is healthy so you should eat a lot.
- yeahhh that was on oprah the mother hides vegetable puree's in her kids food. you have to puree it you cant just shred it and put it in.
- just eat the vegetables. steam them for no more than 3 minutes, if you over cook vegetable they do not taste as good. also steaming a medley of broccoli, cabbage, cauliflower and carrots looks really good. if it looks pretty it will taste better. choose to start liking the taste of vegetables. Yum
- The key is to not over cook your vegetables and water them down with sugars and the like of muffins. Here are 2 good options. Steam some cauliflower Roast a head of garlic Peel the garlic and place it in blender / food processor along with the steamed cauliflower. Puree it all and it will taste like garlic mashed potatoes but the nutrition of cauliflower but no starch. You will need an egg plant, 1 cup of feta cheese, garlic and cumin. Roast the Egg plant on a grill or in an oven at 375 deg till it gets soft. Remove the egg plant from the heat and scoop out the insides discarding the skin. Mix in the feta, crushed garlic and cumin to taste. Very tasty!!!
- LOL... i know that Jerry Seinfeld's wife made a cook book with some veggie recipes for kids. It's called DECEPTIVELY DELICIOUS by Jessica Seinfeld. You should buy it! Other than that.. i say try eating a salad once in a while! It's not all that bad.. you just need a good dressing that you like and the right kind of lettuce or leaves to go with them. [My fave salad is just a reg. iceberg or butter head lettuce, carrots, garbanzo beans, a bit of red cabbage and thousand island dressing!] Orr.. you can try tempura veggies. Just dip them in tempura batter and fry them! Although that might be a little greasy.
- V8 fusions are great! they have half a serving of veggies as well as half a serving of fruit! but the best part is you can't taste the veggies just fruit juice! its reallly really yummy! you can also make your own juices like that too! just google fruit veggie juice recipes and your set! i hope this helped! god bless :D :D :D
